Adolescència i joventut digital: viure i aprendre en les xarxes socials i en la intel·ligència artificial

Resum

Les tecnologies digitals estan canviant la forma en què les persones, i especialment adolescents i joves, accedeixen al coneixement i es relacionen entre si. No obstant això, aquests canvis culturals estan encara lluny d’integrar-se plenament a les aules i en el currículum. El present article analitza com afecten aquestes tecnologies al seu desenvolupament afectiu i social, així com a la forma en què accedeixen a la informació i al coneixement tant a les aules com fora d’elles. S’identifiquen tres moments recents: la immersió digital forçada per la pandèmia i el confinament, el creixent rebuig i prohibició de les pantalles a les aules i les conseqüències educatives de la irrupció de la Intel·ligència Artificial Generativa. Aquesta anàlisi mostra les dificultats que el sistema educatiu té encara per a integrar la cultura digital, en preferir excloure de forma generalitzada l’ús de pantalles, la qual cosa dificultarà sens dubte que els estudiants aconsegueixin les competències digitals per a un ús autònom i crític d’aquests dispositius, consolidant la seva dependència dels algorismes i les dinàmiques d’ús generades des de les empreses tecnològiques. Es proposa en el seu lloc promoure aquestes competències integrant les tecnologies en el currículum sota la guia dels docents, amb la finalitat d’ajudar a generar un ús conscient, crític i autoregulat.
