Concepts and reflections on early childhood psychomotor skills
Abstract
This article addresses the origins and current situation of psychomotricity in Spain. The two methodologies, normative and dynamic are also discussed in terms of their different contexts. Then the dynamic psychomotricity is defined in terms of global attention. In the world of education this concept claims attention for the body and tonic dialog, and give us a particular point of view about children. Then it outlines the objectives of psychomotricity, as a practice that helps children to achieve a harmonious development and it could establish bases for other learning. Finally offers some proposals for disposition of the teacher.
