Abstract

In this paper I expose some of the ideas derived from a research about shared schooling with children with special needs between the regular centers and the special education ones developed in the last years in a Barcelona district. I will also explain the reasons why I think that those experiences had sense when first initiated but they now are becoming a way to perpetuate the separation model between the regular school and the special one; as a transition period they mean a research field to get closer to the limits to be overcomed in the way to the inclusive school.
