Basic lines for deaf children advising programs and family support

Abstract

We want, with this present work, to show the need to develop programs of care to families with deaf children or other special needs. From one recent investigation of the author of this matter and after reviewing experiences carried out by professionals we set up basic guidelines for the development of information programs and support to the families with proposals for their implementation and specific suggestions of performance. With this proposal we try to go beyond the necessary attention to the children with special needs, looking for to improve the quality of life of the families and the good development of all their members also.
