INTERXARXES. An experience of networking in the district of Horta-Guinardó

Abstract

This project consists in setting up a regular and stable network of co-ordination, within the district of Horta-Guinardó, between the various health, educational and social work services directed to the children’s population (0-18 years of age). The aim of this network is to periodically revise the quality of the assistance, to program joint actions and to foster the interchange of information and knowledge. The goals consist of an improvement in the quality of the intervention carried out by these services and an increase in the knowledge of the reality of children and families in the territory. This task is carried out by means of applied research, joint training and learning of network skills for the participating professionals, as well as the formulation of proposals in order to use the available recourses in the most optimum conditions within a more ample plan of community dynamics. All of this would generate proposals for change and innovation in the management of these services.
