CIBERBULLYING. Bullying through the Network
Abstract
What is cyberbullying? Is it a new form of abuse or a perverted form of interpersonal relationship? Have new technologies improved communication or have they rather contributed to the paradox of human isolation? It is important to clarify what we mean when we refer to bullying among peers via the Net, especially bearing in mind that the Internet forms what has been called "the fourth area of socialization”. What emotions and behaviour are we referring to? This paper tries to provide parents and education professionals with some ideas to address this problem.
