Abstract

In this document, the Catalan Association of the Educational Psychology and Social Work Advisory Teams, tries to make an overlook to the situation of integration of children with special needs in infant, primary and secondary schools. We talk about the different kinds of schooling for children with special needs: in mainstream schools, in special schools, in special units in ordinary schools,... We also have tried to point out the more important issues to work towards an inclusive education in all the stages in our educational system. At the end, we underline the rol of the Educational Psychologist in an inclusive educational system.
