Educational psychologic advice in Catalonia
Abstract
This article reviews the evolution experienced by the pyscopedagogic counselling system in Catalonia over the last twenty five years, focusing on the psycopedagogic counselling teams (EAP). The aforementioned system is examined through both immediate antecedents as well as determinate milestones that have had repercussions concerning the general progressive configuration of the system and that of the EAP in particular. Taking into consideration the multiplicity of tasks taken on by these teams, several questions are posed concerning the model of counselling followed, it`s priority functions and the increase in tasks caused by the advances in the coordination of services and the progressive bureaucratization, such as the difficulties posed by the evaluation of the effects of counselling.
