Abstract

This article describes an experience of collaboration betwen two schools, a special school and mainstream school in the areas of Primary education. This experience of cooperation between these two centres has brought to reflect on the importance of diversity. Focussing on diversity entails to move forward to an educational model based on inclusion. This model takes as a premise that school must be for everyone, a perspective that brings about the necessity of change. Changes in organizational and methodological aspects must be achieved in order that all pupils have access to participation and the educational system regardless of their necessities.
