Abstract

The relationship between technologies and education has always been on issue. Beyond the simple introduction of information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the classroom, we think the main key is to find ways to innovate methodologies and transform education in a way in which allows collaborative woek, promotes participation and communication between different members of the educational community and makes way for better comprehension of today's society. New Information and Communication Technologies are a great way to pursue this change. In this article we explain an experience of project based learning, using ICT as an excuse and opportunity for educational innovation in school. We think that one of the great problems of ICT implementation in education is that it has always been based in the instrumental use of technology, but without any real .methodological transformation purpose in classroom. We have tried to reverse this pattern parting from a broad concept of educational change, which can be developed more creatively and efficientky with the support of technology
