Innovation project. The Jacint Verdaguer educational center, a model of Institut-school open to today's society
Abstract
Sant Sadurní d'Anoia is an state school which initially was born for infant and junior education (primary). Nowadays it is consolidating as a Secondary school with sixth from/Primary school, sharing the same educational project throughout all the school years, from the three year olds in infant education to the ones finishing the secondary.
New technologies have a strong presence in our centre and they come altogether with a methodology that tries to get closer to the necessities of the modern times. Also with a new curricular organisation which aims to help our students to develop self confidence and initiative, team work and communication skills, as well as independence in dealing with their own issues and problems.
