Abstract

The debate on the integration of disabled people has evolved in the last twenty five years towards the new concept of inclousion. The creation of the USEE (the special education unit) located in regular centers, thought for disabled students with an initial orientation from the specific center, are a resource to improve the participation of these children in the activities of the center. The planning, the organitation of coordinated interaction of the whole school community and its assessment, are the key points to go toward an inclusive school model.
