Abstract

We present this paper clainiong that “diversity” concerus everybody, all the whole educational communnity. Under the cover of this statement, the paper develops the functionning of the “shelter classroom/welcoming classroom” (CAT) of our school, its organisation, not only from the point of view of academic and timing purposes, but with the philosophy or line of thought that the Diversity Departement and all its members establishment have adopted as their main concern. Finally, we give an account of the challenges that the school still has, which are: the integration of the newcorners into the ordinary group class, in what momentmthe pupil schould becouse independant from the CAT, in what precise moment the curricular subjects are introduced… Whe also have some other concerus such as social cohesion , inner organisation of the IES, how to involve the rest of the staff…
