Abstract

The paper describes an experience of community service carried out during 2013-2014, Ramon Berenguer IV Secondary School, of Amposta. It is a project aimed at second cycle (3d-4th) of secondary education and that has the purpose to ensure that all students throughout their school career, as part of its curricular program, of one or more subjects, can experience actions of civic and community engagement. In order to develop this project a pedagogical methodology is used -Learning Service (APS), which involves schools and their students in the social needs of their immediate surroundings, based on a previous detection of a lack.
