The article explores the concepts of city, culture, and education as well as their interrelations. The city, in a context of changing times, along with its transformations, is described as a formative space and of cultural exchange, genuinely urban, dynamic, and alive, a network of interrelations. It is in this framework where cultural and educational policies are developed, necessarily linked to certain values that orient objectives such as personal and collective autonomy, equality, and diversity. Values that in the binomial education-culture are also linked to innovation and creativity, and that are essential for social transformation in terms of equity and social progress.
