Abstract

The "Active Secondary Education Project" started because of a need: the need to give an educational, professional and inclusive answer to a specific group of studens from our school, but also to students with special needs from high schools of the city.The "Active Secondary Education Project" takes three school years. Since 2011-12, the "Active secondary education Project" is part of "Programes de Diversificació Curricular Ciutat del Prat" (curricular diversification programmes, from the city of El Prat de Llobregat). Nowadays there are 16 students in it, and 12 of them are in training period in some enterprises of the city: Fundació Catalana de l'Esplai, Hotel Tryp Airport, Hotel Sallés Ciutat del Prat and Ataula.

Aims of the project:

- Projecting inclusive school beyond the basic scholarship.

-The orientation and progressive preparation towards adult life from a systemic perspective. The insertion into the world of standardized work and its inclusion in society.

- Learning life skills, social and laboral skills, in order to be able to be in the society and in the labord world.

- Inclusion in the society as citizens, developing their capacities in order to improve their quality of life, to take decisions and to continue learning.

- The archievement of the curriculum from their satge, adapted.

- The archievement of labour competencies as a Restaurant and Hotel assistant in a standard context.
