Collaboration project between the CPEE Fatima and the CEIP Pere Viver of Terrassa
Abstract
The subject of the article deals with the joint work of two Elementary Schools of the same neighborhood: One of them is a Special Education school and the other of Ordinary Education. Each educative center benefits from the specificity of the other with the so-called collaboration Project. The students with special Educative needs have the opportunity to share activities and coexist as well as to imitate models of standardized behavior and language. On the other hand, the students of the ordinary school learn of people who have developed other capacities although they may have slower rhythm of learning. To carry out the project demands a good level of coordination between the professionals of both educative centers. It is a long and slow way to go and far from easy, but at the same time full of great satisfactions. That makes us think that we are on the right direction.
