Multiple intelligences in the classroom
Abstract
The major contribution of Multiple Intelligences to education is suggesting specific ways for educators to incorporate them into their lesson planning for practical use in the classroom, forgetting a bit the traditional teaching method. Using new ways to evaluate students in order to identify their strengths and weaknesses and then provide a range of activities and experiences which would work in concert with each student’s individual needs. So, we have to take into account the variety of learning styles which each student has in front of these activities. This article makes the theory easily understandable and aplicable to our students. As Gardner and Amstrong say: “There is not only one way to put the IM ideas in the classroom into practice”.
