The SEEM is a specific educational service attached to the CEE Pont del Dragó that depends on the Barcelona Education Consortium. It serves people with motor disabilities to support educational inclusion at all stages: nursery, compulsory and post-compulsory.
The aim is for people with motor disabilities to enjoy the same opportunities as everyone else and to take an active part in their own contexts and activities according to their age, interests and rights.
The work of the SEEM is based on accompaniment and support, both for the students and the professionals who care for them and their families, and for providing specific resources to the students who need them. The intervention in each stage has its own uniqueness to be able to give an answer adjusted to the characteristics and needs of the students in each moment of their life. Support technology and specialized training are two cross-cutting areas that have in common to facilitate and improve the lives of people with disabilities.
