Abstract

The book Adolescents and adults in school: time scores – according to the authors – "is a book-experience that aspires to become experience also for its readers." The challenge of elucidating (think what you do, know what you think) is held in more than 25 years of collective work in secondary education institutions, proposing the creation of a critical and new look into current life in the educational institution. The themes of the different chapters - encounters, missed connections, identity, transitional paths, transmission, institutional practices, educational counselling teams and educational tie - are dealt with through the field of the problem of subjectivity. In short, this book reaches the status of device - in Gilles Deleuze’s words - that is, a machine to see and to make people talk to that BETWEEN - definitely multidimensional and complex – that starts the book title. Like the authors that venture out without prejudice to the emergence of questions, uneasiness and hopes, the journey through its pages invites readers to creative implementation of new ways of inhabiting the school.
