Disturbing Behaviors and Educational Services

Abstract

Over the last few years an increase of conflictive behavoir has been apparent in the area of education which put in question the relationship between pupils and teacher and the teacher authority of the teacher themselves. It is thought that this fact is due to increasing number of pupils who suffered behavoir disorders. This article intends to reflect on certain questions that could help us to understand this phenomena.

Two years ago the Education Department of Generalitat of Catalunya decided to create a special aid group (SEETDIC) for pupils with development and behavoir disorders. This group offers support to the Educational Services of each district, specially EAP (Psicopedagogical Teams), and teachers in the schools who deal whith this afford mentioned pupils and the conflicts that arise in the class. The caractheristics of the services and funtions of SEETDIC will be explained in the following text.
