Abstract

In this article a reflection is presented concerning the emergence and development of social ties among children at the end of the early stages of childhood. Social ties are described as a construction in which cognitive, emotional and pragmatic aspects intervene. Arguments to justify this conception are presented, giving reference to intervening questions of maturity, learning and development. To conclude, certain considerations are put forward, addressed to professionals in the field, in relation to the emergence of social ties and the way to observe their evolution and favour their development.
