Abstract

Although project-based learning is usually carried out in groups, it is well known that simply grouping students does not necessarily mean that they will cooperate. For that reason, the challenge of improving the cooperative work of students distributed in teams has often been –and still is– a point of improvement in this methodology. After reviewing conditions for cooperation, this paper goes through the different moments of project-based learning, in order to provide guidance and supports that allow the teacher to have tools to enhance cooperative learning, from the beginning to the end of the project. It is not about teachers putting all of them into practice in each project but knowing them well to be able to use them strategically, based on their professional knowledge.
